La Roca Soccer Experience Starts Here

La Roca FC teams have enjoyed 10 years of growth and success in Utah County. Because of the enthusiasm of thousands of young players, La Roca FC now expands its teams in Utah County to include a Junior Academy program for 4-8 year old boys and girls. Ariel Bravo, Director of Coaching for La Roca South, will serve as the Junior Academy’s new Director. Ariel is a former professional soccer player who holds a B-level license from US Soccer. We are excited to offer these young players the best instruction as they begin their soccer journey.

Program Details

Ariel and his team of coaches will create a safe, positive environment for kids to develop their skills and have fun. The objective of the program is tap into their potential by teaching them the necessary foot skills and instilling a passion for soccer. We will focus on the hand-eye coordination and gross motor skills required for dribbling the ball, controlling the ball, passing, and shooting. We will also teach the basics of goalkeeping. This program will help prepare the kids for the next step, should they decide to pursue competitive soccer.

The program will provide two 1-hour training sessions a week during the summer, fall, and spring.

Cost & Schedule

Cost: $425 (10% sibling discount).

A uniform is included in the cost, though players will need their own cleats and shin guards. Winter training will be optional at an additional cost. $25 discount if player already has the uniform.

Summer Schedule: July 14 through August 14 (no training on July 24)

Players born in 2016 and 2015: Tuesdays 4-5 pm AND Fridays 5:30-6:30 pm
Players born in 2014 and 2013: Tuesdays 5-6 pm AND Fridays 6:30-7:30 pm

Location: Timberline Middle School in Alpine

Fall season dates: August 18 – October 9, 2020

16 training sessions during Fall season. Dates TBD.

Spring season dates: March 9 – May 7, 2021

18 training sessions during Spring season. Dates TBD.

La Roca coaches are there to provide support to teams. Registration comes with a Parent Coaching Manual with basic warm-ups and coaching activities. Every great player started as a junior.
